Rodney Dean Smallwood, 65 of Oxford, OH, passed away August 9, 2023. He was born on November 4, 1957 to Clarence and Goldie Jeffers Smallwood in Oneida, Tennessee. He was educated in the Hamilton Public Schools and retired from Miami University. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Clarence "Larry" Smallwood. He is survived by his half sister Rachel Smallwood and cousin Mattie (Mark) Sawyer and many other loving relatives. A visitation for Rodney will be held in Oxford on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 from 5 pm to 6 pm at Paul R. Young Funeral Home. Rodney will be laid to rest with his family in Fairview Memorial Gardens, Huntsville, Tennessee on Saturday, August 19, 2023.
