Roberta was born in Rock Castle County, Kentucky to Harriet (nee Barnes) and Willie Deathreage on June 10, 1944. She was the beloved wife of the late William Lawson and devoted mother of Harold (Jamie) Hignite, Patricia (Gregory Hall) Donaldson, William (Tonya) Donaldson and Shonda (Edward) Lane. Cherished grandmother of Paige and Evan Hignite; Krin Hall; Billy, Tyler and Savannah Donaldson and Kayde and Kelsy Burke; and Meghan Hayes and Destinee (Maddie) Kurtz. Dear sister of Loretta Crouch and Juanita Powell. Preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her siblings Walker Deathreage, Vernon Deatreage, and Dessie Angel. She will be very deeply missed. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
