Obituary

Bob was born to Emma (nee Blackburn) and Henry Licht on June 15, 1933. He is  survived by his beloved wife Judith (nee Siegfried) Licht; devoted father of Kathryn (Michael Mather) Licht, William (Dorothy Cockrell) Licht, Laura (Michael) Freese and the late Karyn Licht; cherished grandfather of Rachel (Anthony Ferrese) Licht,  Conor (Deidre) Honig, Jordan Mather-Licht, Grace Freese, and great-grandfather of Alexandra Honig and Lorenzo Ferrese; dear brother of William (Lee Ann) Licht; also survived by loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Bob was born in Clairton, Pennsylvania (outside of Pittsburgh) and earned his Bachelor's degree from the Carnegie Institute of Technology (now Carnegie Mellon University's School of Engineering). He worked as a Chemical Engineer for Procter & Gamble for over 35 years. He was a man of many talents; he enjoyed woodworking, bowling and watching the Bengals and Steelers. He and Judy were longtime members of Pleasant Run Presbyterian Church. He loved animals and was a long-time volunteer at the Cincinnati Zoo and could often be seen walking with several large golden retrievers in the neighboring parks.

Services for Bob will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023, visitation at 3 pm, service at 4 pm at Pleasant Run Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation in Robert's name to the church at 11565 Pippin Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45231.
