Robert  Davis
Hobe Sound, FL - Robert Davis, 91, formerly of Mt. Healthy, OH, passed away on October 4, 2023 at his residence in Florida. He was the beloved husband of the late Jean Eckerlin Davis for 71 years. He is survived by his children Matt (Julia) Davis, Cindy (Ron) Huber, and Scott Davis; his grandchildren Courtney (Robert) Maciel, Melissa (Chris) Huber-Grau, Kelsey (Curtis) McCord, Heather (Wade) Kolling, Mac Davis, and Taylor (Amberleigh) Davis; and his great-grandchildren Maddie & Reagan, Nyla, Brooks, Ria, and EmmaLeigh. He also was the brother-in-law of the late Albert Eckerlin, Darlene Dix and Deb (Lou) Warnken. Also survived by numerous nieces & nephews. Preceded in death by his siblings the late Lucille Meister, the late Evelyn "Ebbie" (the late Herschel) Estridge, and the late Eileen (the late Hank) Holden. Army Veteran & a Kentucky Colonel. Very active member of the Masonic Order and Syrian Shriner. Member of the Bricklayers Union and spent most of his career with Messer Construction. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 14th from 9 AM until time of services at 11 AM at the Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Ave., Mt. Healthy, OH 45231. Interment will immediately follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
