Robert Bruce Davidson, age 97, passed away at home on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, in Harrison, Ohio. Born on July 27, 1928, in Oneida, Kentucky, to the late Robert and Arrena (Hall) Davidson, Robert lived a life defined by service and devotion. A proud veteran of the United States Army, Robert served his country with honor in Korea before embarking on a long and dedicated career with the William Powell Co., from which he later retired. Beyond his professional life, Robert found great joy in the simple pleasures of reading and the soulful melodies of Bluegrass music. He is survived by his children Roger (Sue) Davidson, Joyce (Paul) Hofmann; grandchildren Brian (Amber Conley) Hofmann, Jeff (Sara) Hofmann, Greg Hofmann, and Matt (Megan) Hofmann, as well as his great-grandchildren, Lucas, Autumn, Madison, and Max. Robert was preceded in death by his beloved parents and his granddaughter, Sara Wolf. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.  A visitation will take place at Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Ave. Mt. Healthy, Ohio, on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 from 10:15am-11:15am with a burial to follow at Crown Hill Memorial Park.
