ROBERT JEFFREY CAPLINGER

AUGUST 4, 1961 - FEBRUARY 7, 2025

Bobby was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to loving parents Janet (nee Childers) and the late Robert Caplinger on August 4, 1961. He's the father of dear daughters Andrea (Jeff) Schuck, Alyssa (Mark) Humphrey and Alexi (Kevin) Kreinest grandfather of Macey, the late Stella, Cole, Mia, Mitchell, Myles, Ashton and Baby Kreinest; brother of Jill (Doug) Hede, John Caplinger, Bonnie (Louie) Hollmeyer and Joy (John) Boland; many nieces and nephews; and former husband of Alisha Caplinger, and step father of Ashley (Ryan) Harrison.

Bobby worked faithfully at The Cincinnati Enquirer for many years and was known well as a die-hard Cincinnati Reds devotee and UC basketball fan. He played softball his whole life and enjoyed sports of all kinds.
