Richard J. "Dick" Hartmann
Springfield Twp. - Richard J. "Dick" Hartmann. Beloved husband of the late Shirley A. Hartmann (nee Handorf) for 59 years. Devoted father of Annette (Mike) Geiger, Edward (Kathy) Hartmann, Steven (Candy) Hartmann, David (Karen) Hartmann, John Hartmann, Andrew (Melissa) Hartmann and Ronald (Ellen) Hartmann. Loving brother of Tom (Marilyn) Hartmann and Lawrence (Pat) Hartmann. Also survived by 31 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his sons, the late Richard Hartmann Jr. and the late Joseph Hartmann; and six siblings. Richard passed away on June 22, 2023 at the age of 90 years. US Army Korean War Veteran. Founding member of St. Bartholomew Church (where he was a very active member). Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 29th from 9:30 AM until time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at St. Bartholomew Church, 9375 Winton Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45231. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Hospice of Cincinnati, or to John Paul II Catholic School.
