Richard D. Feldhaus was born on October 6, 1946 to parents, Louis & Veronica Feldhaus. Richard passed away on May 8, 2026 at the age of 79. He was the beloved husband of the late Elaine Feldhaus (nee Ulrich). Loving brother of Mary Cassidy (Charles) and the late Alan Feldhaus. Dear friend of Judi Dooley, Mark Oaks (Betsy), and Lee Ann Sloan. Also survived by brother-in-law David Ulrich (Cammy), sister-in-law Marilyn Stephens, and many nieces, nephews, & cousins. Also preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law the late Ken Ulrich, and sister-in-law the late Jane Powers. Vietnam War Air Force Veteran where he was awarded the Air Force Medical Service medal. He worked his entire career and retired from the Cincinnati Enquirer. Member of the Cathedral Basilica of St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church. Member of the Knights of Columbus, Third Degree, St. Patrick Council #1747 and member of the Fourth Degree assembly of the Knights of Columbus, St. Isaac Jogues #801, as PFN  (Past Faithful Navigator). Richard was also involved with the Serra Club through the catholic church. He also loved to travel. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 20th from 5 to 7 PM at the Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy, OH 45231. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 21st at 9:30 AM at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church, 325 West Eighth Street, Cincinnati, OH 45202. Interment will immediately follow at St. John's Cemetery (Ft. Mitchell, KY). Memorial donations can be made to the Cathedral Basilica of St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church.
