Miriam Grider was born in Russell County, Kentucky to Stella (nee Stearman) and Loren Grider on November 17, 1926. She is the beloved mother of Darlene (James) Bonta and Dean Brockman; cherished grandmother of Erin (John) Bonta-Lewis, K. Leigh (William) Mahoney, Alyssa Bonta, Sarah (Nick) Rollins, Beth (Gerald) South and Chris Brockman; dear great-grandmother of Ben, Lily, Sam, Brady, Livia, Jack, Oliver and Nora. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edrow Brockman, her parents, and many loving brothers and sisters. Miriam's two great passions in her life were her treasured grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she adored, and her yard work, which she was devoted to and kept up even into her 90s. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
