Michael David Prescott
November 20, 1950 – March 12, 2023

Michael David "Mike" Prescott, age 72 of College Corner, Ohio passed peacefully
March 12, 2023. Mike was born on November 20, 1950, in Middletown, Ohio, the
son of Edward Harper and Mildred Irene (nee: McCloud) Prescott. Mike served his
country proudly in the Army National Guard for 16 years. He was a jack of all
trades, working as an electrician for Rick Gann Electric. He was an active member
of the Fairfield Eagles Lodge Aerie 3680. Mike was a loving husband, father,
papaw, and friend. He loved fishing and boating, going on many trips with his
wife, family, and friends creating memories that will last a lifetime. He also
enjoyed hunting, exploring his interest in firearms, woodworking, making many
jewelry and keepsake boxes over the years, and watching his favorite TV shows.
He was always willing to help anyone who needed it and made friends wherever
he went.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, his grandson Jacob Michael Prescott,
and his niece Rebecca Lynn Ferguson. Mike leaves behind his loving wife of 51
years Kathy (nee: Hurley) Prescott; children Kelly Lynn (Ron) Marcum and Kevin
(August) Prescott; grandchildren Haley Prescott, Gabrielle Petry, and Michaela
Prescott; great-grandson Jacob Michael Staples Jr; siblings Patricia (Ed) Krebs,
Gene (Fran) Prescott, Jackie Gott, Kenny Prescott, and Greg (Bonnie) Prescott; as
well as many other nieces, nephews, great nieces, great-nephews, other family
members, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 16, 2023, from 4:30 pm to 7:30
pm, all at the Paul R. Young Funeral Home in Oxford. Funeral services will be held
at the funeral home on Friday, March 17, 2023, at 10 am. Interment will
immediately follow at Butler County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family
appreciates donations to the American Cancer Society in Mike's memory.
