Marjorie Ruth Martin (nee Richey) was born February 13, 1945 to Herbert and Kathryn Richey. Ruth had 5 brothers and 2 sisters. She passed away on April 22, 2023 at age 78. On October 29, 1966 Ruth married Robert Martin with whom she shared 53 years of marriage. She leaves to remember her fondly, their three children: Sharon Kennedy, Sara Martin and Robert Martin Jr (Chenelle). Her brother Herbert Richey Jr (Mary) and sister Kathryn Abernathy (Paul). Grandchildren: David Kennedy Jr (Amber), Rachel Kennedy, Donovan Kennedy (Courtney), Brandon Kennedy, Ashley San Diego (Allan), Celeste Sullivan (Randy), Ryan Martin and Timothy Sherman. Great grandchildren: Jayla Likens, Aubree Kennedy, Corrie Kennedy and Taylor Kennedy.

Ruth was a loving spiritual woman who dedicated her life to serving Jehovah God at the age of 13. She enjoyed reading the Bible daily, her favorite Bible book was Psalms. She enjoyed talking to people about Jehovah and his purposes. She also enjoyed playing the flute, dancing and taking walks.

We will miss her kindness, meekness and patience but we are encouraged by her faith and endurance until the end!
