Marion Grace Sherman Cooley, 94, was born on January 3, 1930 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Harold Curtis Sherman and Verda Ethel Garringer Sherman.  Marion passed away peacefully on February 14, 2024, at home in Cincinnati Ohio.

She is survived by her children Marilyn Grace Cooley Ginder (David) of Cincinnati, Noele Grace Williams of Hamilton, Ohio, and Charles William Cooley of Cincinnati; by her grandchildren, Darren Michael Cooley of Cincinnati, Elisabeth Grace Cooley of Cincinnati, Jadon Charles Williams of Hamilton, Ohio, and Hannah Noele Williams (Mason Bourbon) of Cincinnati; and by her great-grandchildren, Baylee Katherine Bourbon, Rylan Grace Bourbon, and Skyla Noele Bourbon, all of Cincinnati. Marion is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 71 years, William "Bill" Edward Cooley, her brother Roger William Sherman, and by her son Harold Ross Cooley.

Marion taught art education for many years at Miami University of Ohio.  Her greatest pleasure was in beautiful things, both the ones she created, and those she saw in the world, especially works of art.  Throughout her life, her deepest desire was to bring kindness to the world.

Private services and burial have already been held.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to Heritage Acres Memorial Sanctuary.
