Marie Hoberg was born on January 11, 1931 to Dewey and Hattie McCullah in Cincinnati Ohio. Marie was the oldest of 3 daughters which included the late June and Ruthie. Marie was a homemaker and a secretary at Northwest High School for numerous years until retirement at the age of 65. Marie enjoyed traveling with her best friend, Tena. Marie was the longtime companion to former Detective Bob Meyers. Marie is survived by her sister; Ruth Magly; four children, Peggy (Alan) Hagler, Patti (Terry) Voegele, Garry (Barb) Hoberg, & Larry (Kim) Hoberg; and her grandchildren; Nick (Brandi) Voegele, April (Josh) Jackson, Ryan Hoberg, Scott (Kristen) Hagler, Ashley (Mike) Whitney, Lauren (Kelly) Beane, & Chrisa Hoberg. Also survived by seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces & nephews. Marie was preceded in death by her sister, June, companion, Bob Meyers, brother-in-law, Bud Magly, and son-in-law Alan Hagler. Marie passed away on February 1, 2024 at the age of 93 years. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 12th from 9 AM until time of the Funeral Service at 11 AM at Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Ave., Mt.Healthy, OH 45231. Interment to follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Covenant Village and to Hospice of Cincinnati.
