Mabel Parman (nee Gilbert) passed away on September 30, 2026, at the age of 101. She was born on September 21, 1925, to Jake and Nancy Gilbert. Mabel was the beloved wife of the late Sam Parman for 76 years. She was the proud mother of Penny (Edgar) Clark, Brenda Parman, the late Doris Bolin and the late Robert Parman; and the cherished grandmother of Lance (Kathryn) Murray, Holly (Brian) Bost, Kristen (Jeff) Ainslie, Tricia (Rick) Hoffman, and the late Keith Parman. Mabel is also survived by nine great-grandchildren (Drew, Kailyn, Sydney, Luke, Carmen, Grey, Derek, Devin, and Chase) and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her seven siblings: Pearl Cole, Maggie Helton, Crit Gilbert, Bill Gilbert, James Gilbert, Sam Gilbert, and Everett Gilbert.

Mabel loved cooking, reading, and talking about her childhood in Kentucky. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren with all her heart.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 11 AM until time of the Funeral Service at 12 PM at the Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Ave., Mt. Healthy, OH 45231. Interment to follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations can be made to the charity of the donor's choice, or the American Cancer Society in honor of Mabel’s late daughter and son.
