Kathleen Walsh, 102, of Mt. Healthy (formerly North College Hill), passed away early the morning of December 13, 2022, in her sleep. Born February 2, 1920 in Crowland, England. She was the only daughter of the late Sarah Jane Benstead (nee Pepper) and the late Harry Benstead. Kathleen came to America after becoming a war bride to James C. Walsh in 1946 arriving on the Queen Mary. She is survived by daughters, Jane (Walt) Barela, Mary (the late Henry) Bang, and Kathleen (the late John) Sadouskas; 6 grandchildren, Sarah Barela, Mike Barela, Jeffrey Walsh, Ryan Sadouskas, Nicholas Sadouskas, and Andrew Sadouskas; 8 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Kathleen is preceded in death by her husband, James C.Walsh and her six older brothers (she was the youngest of 7 children). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 21st from 10:15 AM until time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at St. Margaret Mary Church, 1830 Galbraith Rd., North College Hill, OH 45239.
