Jon was born to Doris Jeanne (nee McVicker) and Richard Rinal in Hamilton, Ohio on August 22, 1953. He grew up in Hamilton and later married Gail Hope Agee, and together they raised four children.
Jon is the beloved husband of the late Gail (nee Agee) Rinal; devoted father of Sara Foulk, Molly Rinal, Jill (Michael) Belden and Jonathan (Kristina) Rinal; cherished grandfather of Andrew, Bailey, Elizabeth Hope, Brooklyn, Vincent, Mason, Wyatt, Luca, Harper and Sadie; and dear brother of Sharon (David) Francis and Sally (Kim) Johnson, as well as many dear hunting friends.
Jon was a longtime Mason and member of the Grand Lodge F & A.M. of Ohio - Washington Lodge No. 17. He was also the President of the Old Trails Rifle and Pistol Club.
A visitation for Jon will be held 5-7 pm on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at Paul R. Young Funeral Home in Oxford, Ohio. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Jon's name to Hospice of Cincinnati.
