Jim was born to Betty (nee Zechmeister) and Chuck Vordenberge in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 6, 1955. He is the beloved husband of Carolyn (nee Fries) Vordenberge; devoted father of Beth (Josh) Hartman, Jimmy (DeMisha) Vordenberge and Cara (Travis) Smithberger; cherished grandfather of Sammie, Cooper, Max and Henry; dear brother of Chuck (Ricklie) Vordenberge and Linda (Tammy) Vordenberge.

Jim and Carolyn met at University of Cincinnati, where he played baseball. They were married and he worked for the business his father started, CW Vordenberge Co. Jim was an advocate for all God's creatures. We never knew when he would come home with a stray animal. Jim loved lending a hand to anyone in need. He never knew a stranger. Grandpa Jim enjoyed bike rides and ice cream with the grandkids. He could also be found at Colerain Bowling Alley where he was once an avid bowler. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

Mass will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024 at 11 AM in Mt. Healthy at Church of the Assumption.
