Jim Hamer, age 90, beloved husband of 50 years to the late Louise Hamer (née Schweikhardt). Son of the late Charles and Stella Hamer. Loving Father of Vickie Kartye (Jim), Mike Hamer (Susan), Steven Hamer, Nancy Adams (Ken), and Timothy Hamer. Devoted Grandfather of Jamie Crosby (Robert), Jessica Evans (Dan), Rachel Bonomini (Dino), Dana Vehr (Andrew), Nick Hamer (Kari MacKinnon), Leslie Finke (Ben), and TJ Hamer (Jackie Neuhalfen). Dear Great Grandfather to Jaxson, Reagan, Hunter, Deacon, Brooks, Lenora, Samuel, and Stella. Passed away on July 27, 2023.

Jim was a proud retired City of Cincinnati Fire Fighter (34 years). He enjoyed coaching his sons in Knothole Ball and was inducted into the Knothole Coaching Hall of Fame. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and bowling with family and friends. Jim was was an avid softball player for the Cincinnati Firefighters. After retirement, Jim enjoyed trips to the racetrack and the casino.  He was a member of St. Patrick and St. Boniface in Northside.

Jim was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He was the most caring son, husband, father, grandfather, and friend one could have. He will be greatly missed.
