James was born to Patricia (nee Geraci) and James Headley on October 3, 1956. He's the beloved husband of Toni Headley; father of Jim Headley and Michelle (Matt) Barber; cherished grandfather of Walker Barber, Elijah Headley, Jolie Barber, Ryen Headley and Cash Barber; and dear brother of Mark (Lisa) Headley and Amy (Vicki) Headley. He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandmother Florence (Sarge) Headley, and his brothers Tony Headley and Michael Headley. He's very loved and will be deeply missed.

A visitation for James will be held at Paul R. Young Funeral Home in Mt. Healthy on Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 12 pm until time of memorial service at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to a trust set up for his grandson, the Cash Barber Autism Scholarship (c/o North Side Bank 9315 Colerain Ave. Cinti, OH 45251) or Hospice of Cincinnati (Hamilton location).
