James E. Vandegraft, 95, was born on December 27, 1927, to proud parents, George W.  and Margaret Vandegraft. James passed away on December 8, 2023. James was the beloved husband of the late Patricia L. Vandegraft (nee Bare) for 61 years. Devoted father of Margaret M. (Jack) Lippert, Linda R. (Mike) O'Banion, Barbara R. (Danny) Harvey, Patricia A. (Scott) Hemingway, James E. (Lori) Vandegraft, Theresa A. (Steve) Leigh, Rita H. (Greg) Porter, Timothy A. (Lora Ann) Vandegraft, Thomas M. Vandegraft, and a late deceased infant girl. Also survived by 34 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and numerous nieces, nephews, & cousins. Preceded in death by his parents. WWII Navy Veteran. A founding member of Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 16th from 9:30 AM until time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, 2014 Springdale Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231.
