Eric was born in Dayton, Ohio to Kymberlee (nee Kittel) and Eric Barr on June 20, 1988. His caring heart and generous spirit earned him many dear friends over the years. He was very close to friends he grew up with, friends he worked with, and family friends who were so precious to him. He loved to go fishing with his dad, play the guitar, dance goofy with his mom, and spend as much time as he could at the beach. He worked for Jake Sweeney and was proud to be a Certified Master Technician.

Eric is the beloved son of Eric and Kymberlee Barr; cherished nephew of Belinda Barr and Barbara Barr; loving cousin of Phillip Barr-Bear; dear friend of Melissa Atkinson and so many others who were like family to him. He cherished his dogs Howard and Sophie and turtle Bonnie. He is preceded in death by his cousin Evan Barr-Beare; his uncles Kenny Barr, John Kittel and James Beare; and his loving grandparents.

A visitation will be held at Paul R. Young Funeral Home in Oxford on Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 2pm - 3:30pm.

A time of fellowship and remembrance will be held at Oxford Community Arts Center from 4pm - 6pm.

Donations honoring Eric's memory can be made to the American Diabetes Association and the Christ Hospital Foundation.
