Obituary

Enos Phelps age 65. Died after a long battle with kidney failure, heart disease and pulmonary hypertension. He passed peacefully in his assisted living room at Scarlett Oaks. He was proceeded in death by both parents Ruby and Brady Phelps, nephew Marques Phelps, and older brother Onus Phelps. Surviving relatives are his sister Debra Spiller (Gerald); nephews Ryan Spiller, Gerald Tucker, and Alonzo Tucker; niece Katrina Spiller; and many great nieces and nephews.

Enos was friendly and kind to everyone and was well liked by everyone. He never met a stranger. He could strike up a conversation with anyone. He appreciated a beautiful sunny day and tried to sit in the sun daily. He was always appreciative of little things like hearing a bird sing or seeing a lovely flower. He enjoyed the simple things like going for a ride in the car and having a good meal with family. He was a huge Cincinnati Reds and Bengals fan.

He has been a Christian since he was a teenager and loved God with all his heart. He was a good and faithful servant of God. He believed in the Resurrection and longed to be reunited with loved ones that have passed away.

I thank God for offering his son Jesus as a sacrifice for us so that we have the hope of seeing our loved ones again. I know I will see him again on that day.
