Cheryl Elaine Schimelpfenig was born on August 1, 1956 to Etta Jean (nee Mason) and Bill Crawford in Trenton, Missouri and passed away on September 22, 2026 in Hamilton, Ohio.

She's survived by her beloved son Mike (Amber) Schimelpfenig; treasured mother Etta Crawford; cherished grandchildren Chase Schimelpfenig and Chloe Schimelpfenig; dear sister of Sharon (the late Tim) Hanson, Gary (Mary Beth) Crawford and Pam Crawford; and also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Bill, and brother-in-law, Tim.

Elaine loved to sew, particularly making hand-sewn blankets for her grandchildren. She enjoyed creating and sharing her scrapbooks, playing cards with friends and family, playing Jeopardy, and planting flowers. She was deeply loved and will be terribly missed.
