Edwin passed away at Dayton VA Hospice on December 19, 2023 at the age of 80. Ed was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and he proudly served in the United States Air Force. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati.

Loving husband of the late Lidia M. Humpert for 55 years; devoted father of Susan (Phill) O'Cull, Virginia Dossenback, the late Edwin Humpert, Jr., and Valerie Tamboer; beloved son of the late Oscar and Virginia Humpert.; beloved brother of the late Jim Humpert, Barbara French and Gary Humpert, Sr.; cherished grandfather to Heather (Chris) Mulholland, Stacie (Michael) Dively, Vanessa Sherman, Brianna (Jeremy) Crouse, and Brooke (Trevor) Sherman; loving great grandfather to Jake, Hadley, Harper, Lincoln, Isaac, Waylon, Lettie, Lidia, William, Alex, Gabe, Kaiden and Aleena.

A visitation will be held on December 28, 2023 at Paul R Young Funeral Home (Mt. Healthy) from 10:00am until the time of the funeral service at 12:00pm.
