Edward Nerswick passed away on January 26, 2024 at the age of 62. Edward was the son of the late Francis and Don Nerswick. He grew up in Delhi, Ohio with his brothers and sisters: Mary Burns, John Nerswick, Ann Schlater, James Nerswick, Carol Cole, Thomas Nerswick, Paul Nerswick, and Ray Nerswick. He married Loretta Gibbons and stayed married for 36 years.

Edward was a devoted father and faithful husband. He fathered Amber Hill, Shaykh-Esa :An- Nierzwicki-Ar-Rabbani, Amanda Dickerson, and John Nerswick. He Grandfathered; Melanie, Jenny, Addy, and Seth through his daughter Amber Hill; Laura, Muhammed, Ali, Hasan, Khadijah, and Cheikh through his son Shaykh-Esa :An-Nierzwicki-Ar-Rabbani; and Madison, Andrew, Ryan, and Theodore through his daughter Amanda Dickerson.

He was well know for his piety and hardworking nature. Edward loved working with his hands and founded his own construction company called Decking Construction where he specialized in building decks and handicap accommodations for the elderly.

He lived his whole life as a Christian and was an active member of the Catholic Church. He believed in faith, family, and tradition. As a follower of Christ he did many charitable acts of kindness. Edwards life was sadly taken prematurely by ALS. He managed to maintain his independence through his debilitating condition for 3 years up until the last 25 days of his life where his health rapidly declined. He died peacefully in the care of his children and siblings.

He will be missed and loved.
