Cincinnati - Beloved son of Henry & Valerie Shores. Loving father of Christian Shores & Mindy Shores. Grandfather of Thomas, Lamkia, and Katherine. He is survived by his brother Daniel Shores; nephews, Braden & Carter Shores; sister, Dara Shores Eads (Greg II); preceded in death by Darren E. Shores; also survived by stepbrother, Michael Moles (Taylor); nieces, Shaylee Moles, Kaylee Young; nephew, Grayson Moles; and stepmother, Helen Moles. Preceded in death by Donnie Thompson. Derick passed away on December 20, 2023, at the age of 51 years old. From St. Albans, WV. Services will be in West Virginia on Sat.
