Bernard "Bernie" Martini

North College Hill -  On Thursday, September 8, 2022, Bernard "Bernie" Martini, loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather, passed away at the age of 89 years. Bernie was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Janet Martini (nee Vetter), son, Daniel J. Martini, grandson, Steven L. Greiwe, granddaughter, Tiffany A. Rogers and great-grandson, Nathaniel Rogers. He is survived by his cherished children, Debbie (Chris) Hayes, Mary (Jim) Rogers, Linda (Mike) Maybury, Greg (Gina) Martini, Sue (Greg) Kramer, Monica (Brandon) Weisenfels, Jennifer (Jerry) Barnhart, Marcia Martini, Jessica Maybury (daughter/granddaughter); 36 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. Dear brother of the late Linus Martini, the late Norbert Martini, the late Clarence Martini, the late Leonard Martini, Virginia Ramsey, Patricia Hendricks, Bonita Blades, Clement (Nick) Martini, Dorothy Collins, the
late Walter Martini and Howard (Hub) Martini.

Bernie was an Army Korean War Veteran and a member of the AMVETS Post 1988 (White Oak).

Bernie was born on July 11, 1933 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was married to Janet on May 25, 1957. Bernie loved raising his family, decorating for Christmas and being involved in the church.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 18th from 2:00PM - 5:00PM at Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy, Ohio 45231. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 19th at 10:00AM at St. Margaret Mary Church, 1830 Galbraith Road, North College Hill, Ohio 45239. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
