Helton,  Barbara J. (78),  passed away on March 27,  2023.  Barbara was the loving wife of the late David E. Helton. They were blissfully married for 55 years.  She was the only daughter of (preceded in death)  Martha A. Gilliam.  She was the sister in law to Janet Carlisle.  Barbara was a compassionate and doting mother of 4 and leaves behind her devoted daughter Debra A. Barlow (David). She was the extremely proud Grandmother of Lauren A. Barlow.  Preceded in death by her precious son Gregory A. (Robin) , Donald and Diana Helton.
Barbara was a wonderful Grandmother and Great-Grandmother.

Paul R. Young Funeral Home will begin visitation at 12pm on Saturday April 1, 2023 with services starting at 1pm. Followed by a graveside burial at Arlington Memorial Garden at 2pm.
