Andrew Andrea, age of 88, passed away on the morning of June 5, 2026, in the comfort of his home. He was born on December 17, 1937, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Samuel and Athena (Andule) Andrea. Andy was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather whose kindness touched the lives of many.  Andy was a proud veteran of the United States Army National Guard and later dedicated 20 years of his life to his work as a pipe fitter at Cincinnati MSD. His commitment to service and family was evident in everything he did. A passionate motorcycle enthusiast, he enjoyed riding and was an active member of several motorcycle groups, including the Gold Wing Chapter L, Retired and Riding, and the Over the Hill Gang. Andy embraced life with joy, often found playing horseshoes, putt-putt, and corn hole, always ready to share laughter and good times with those around him. He had a natural talent for fixing things, always tinkering and finding ways to make things work better. His infectious laugh and down-to-earth nature endeared him to everyone who knew him. Andy is survived by his wife of 60 years, Janet Andrea; daughter Vicky (Rob) Wessel; and his treasured grandchildren, Emma Wessel and AJ Wessel. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Gregory Andrea. A visitation will take place at Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Ave Mount Healthy, Ohio 45231, on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, followed by a funeral service at 12:30 PM. He will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Cincinnati or Saint Vincent de Paul of Cincinnati on Bank Street .
