North College Hill – Thomas R. Strassell. Beloved husband of the late Martha Strassell nee Blessing for 58 years. Devoted father of Laura (Jeff) Barnhorst, Linda (Bob) Hoffmann, and Gina (Mark) Burgess. Cherished grandfather of A.J. (Brooke), Jake (Nicole), Josh, Tyler (Meg), Sam (Gayle), Amanda, Ryan and Nicholas. Loving great-grandfather of Eva, Owen, Landen, and Luke. Dear brother of the late Edwin Strassell, the late Charlotte Tepe, the late Richard Strassell, and the late Betty Sullivan. Preceded in death by four nephews (Chris Strassell, Rick Strassell, Michael Tepe, and John Matthews).  Also survived by many other nieces & nephews. Thomas passed away on January 5, 2019 at the age of 85 years. Korean War Army Veteran. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 12th from 9 to 10:30 AM at Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Ave., Mt. Healthy, OH 45231. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 12th at 11 AM at St. Margaret Mary Church, 1830 W. Galbraith Rd., North College Hill, OH 45239. Interment at Arlington Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
