Steven W Burgess

Steven W.Burgess, 44 years old of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Fort Hamilton Hospital. He was born on January 22, 1974 in Richmond, Indiana. The son of Holly and Alberta (Hornsby) Burgess. He was employed at Cincinnati Sub Zero as a welder. He really loved his job. He married Melissa Luevano on June 11, 1997 in Oxford, Ohio. He is survived by his mother, Ablerta Hornsby of Booneville MS and his father, Holly Burgess of Oxford, OH, his wife, Melissa and five children, Dustin, Gabrielle, Claudia, Corey and Connor, all of Hamilton. Also survived by his two grandchildren, Benjamin and Chandler. A sister, Tresa (Duane) Ruttledge of Winchester, Indiana. Two aunts, Bessie (Lewis) Franklin of Melbourne, FL and Nellie Nesselhauf of Oxford, OH. A host of friends and relatives. He is predeceased by his grandmother, Emma Johnson, his grandparents, Charles and Dollie (Farmer) Burgess and his mother in law, Brenda Crank. A visitation will take place at the Ogle and Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 5086 College Corner Pike, Oxford, Ohio 45056 on Monday, April 9, 2018 from 11:00 AM until 1:30 PM. A funeral service will follow at 1:30 PM with interment at the Oxford Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral costs.
