Shirley Faye McCreary

Shirley Faye McCreary, 87, of Astor, FL passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018. She was born in Oneida, TN. She worked for Avon and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Astor.

She is survived by her son: Mike (Jeanette) Meadors; daughter: Bonnie (Edward) Beckman; 3 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband: Elmon Meadors Jr.; and her second husband: James McCreary.

The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Astor with Reverend Terry Holland officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. An Ohio service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 8, 2018 at Paul Young Funeral Home (Mt. Healthy). She will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Memorial Park following the service.
