Joseph A. “Joe” Davis was the beloved husband of the late Elizabeth “Betty” Davis; devoted father of Robert (Katie) Davis, Victoria Davis, and Michael (Christal) Davis; cherished step-grandfather of Elizabeth Peters & Katherine Peters; loving brother of the late Anne Baillie; dear uncle of Susan Baillie. Joe departed this life on March 23, 2018 at the age of 90 years. Joe was born on November 14, 1927 in Winchester, Indiana. He grew up in Newark, Ohio and graduated from Miami University in 1949. He was an advertising copywriter for the Kroger Company when he met Betty; the couple married in May 1952 and settled in Springfield Township where they lived for 60 years. For the past nine years Joe was a resident of Evergreen Retirement Community. He was a member of St. Bartholomew Church. Services were held privately. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
